About

Hello and welcome! We’re a married couple from London, who for over 28 years have shared an insatiable love for travel. Our life together, like our passport pages, is a collection of incredible memories forged across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, though for many years, work commitments limited us to shorter bursts of adventure.

Then came our first great escape. In 2019, we finally embarked on an epic four-month journey that took us through Southern Africa—visiting Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa—before leaping across the Atlantic to explore New York and Hawaii. From there, we dove into the vibrant cultures of Central America, travelling through Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Cuba. Our trip was a fantastic mix of overlanding, camping, and everything from homestays to lodges and hostels.

When the world pressed pause in 2020, our travel dreams were put on hold for two long years and we both returned to work. But as we emerged from the shadows of the pandemic, we dusted off our passports, more eager than ever to hit the road.

Since then, we haven’t stopped:

  • 2022 saw us exploring the ancient wonders of Jordan and Israel, followed by an amazing camping road trip through Iceland.
  • 2023 was dedicated to a six-week self-drive adventure across Northern Spain.
  • 2024 was been a whirlwind, from New Year in Riga and a birthday celebration in Stockholm, to a three-week road trip through Morocco, and a last-minute trip to Sicily after our month-long Silk Road journey was unexpectedly cancelled. We also managed a quick visit to Copenhagen before setting off on a ten-week adventure to the Philippines, Laos, and Thailand.
  • 2025 has continued the pace, taking us skiing in France and on city breaks to Bologna and Tbilisi. In May we set off on a month long road trip to Luxembourg, Bavaria, Salzburg, Slovenia, Paris, and most recently, the poignant battlefields of Ypres, in a mix of riverside campsites and hotels. In August/September we embarked on an amazing adventure to a part of the fabled Silk Road – Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. October found us in Granada, Spain. Early November we visited Gdansk swiftly followed by a flight to Bergen to take the Norwegian Coastal Express and a potential promise of the Northern Lights before returning in early December.

Our shared love of adventure, a good sense of humor, and a great partnership are the things that we truly need to travel the world. Thanks for following along!
